MODALITIES:  

  • Clinical/Therapeutic Massage directed specifically to individual muscle groups, muscle fibers and muscle attachment points.  Massage techniques that release deeply held patterns of tension and affect soft-tissue impairments that restrict movement and cause pain.  Clinical massage is strategy driven and is results oriented.  Massage utilizing Neuro-Muscular techniques and Trigger Point (painful irritated areas in muscles) therapy to produce desired therapeutic outcomes.

  • Deep (Hot) Stone Therapyutilizing heated stones to soften tight muscles, trigger points, and soothe chronic muscle pain while lessening discomfort during therapy.  Also used with Swedish relaxation massage to de-stress and relax with the added warmth from smooth stones being pressed against the skin.

  •  Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques – identifies and corrects chronic strain patterns before they become pain patterns, systematic realigning of neck and back structures.

  • Swedish Relaxation Massagea system of long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.
